01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
About this place
True to its name, Tsuna Station puts tuna front and centre, serving fresh seafood throughout the day in an unpretentious setting. Anchoring the meal are substantial donburi (rice bowls), featuring combinations such as the all-tuna bowl with soy-marinated cuts and medium-fatty chutoro, or the lavish bowl that tops an assortment of scattered seafood (bara chirashi) with slices of chutoro. Portions can be tailored by adjusting the amount of rice, and donburi set meals come complete with a small side dish and a bowl of warm tonjiru (pork and vegetable miso soup).
Beyond traditional Japanese seafood bowls, the menu explores varied seasonings, including Hawaiian poke loaded with greens and aromatics, as well as a sweet and spicy Korean-style yukhoe bowl. Whether tuna or salmon, the fish tossed in soy sauce and sesame oil, wasabi, or spicy sauces makes a satisfying choice for a quick lunch or an evening meal.
Evening Drinks and Seafood Fare
Come nightfall, the kitchen offers an expanded selection of drinking snacks: seared pickled mackerel (aburi shime saba) torched tableside, assorted sashimi platters highlighting fresh Pacific bluefin tuna, and fragrant grilled fish. To accompany the rich seafood, the drinks lineup includes draught beer, highballs, white wine, fruit liqueurs, and chuhai.
In addition to dine-in service, takeaway is also available, making the shop a handy option in Kachidoki for everyday dining or an after-work bite.
